Darkness falls across the land

The midnight hour is close at hand

Creatures crawl in search of blood

To terrorize y'alls neighborhood

And whosoever shall be found

Without the soul for getting down

Must stand and face the hound of hell

...and rot inside a corpse's shell

The tradition of Halloween began over 2000 years ago by the Celts, who lived in northern Europe in the area that is now Ireland, the U.K, and Northern France. They believed that on October 31, their New Year's Eve, the boundary between the living and the dead would be blurred, and the dead would come back to haunt the living and cause sickness and destroy crops...

This Halloween we did not destroy crops or cause sickness. Instead we descended upon Bleu nightclub and drank spirits instead of being haunted by them...

Halloween 2009 was a rare occurrence. Daylight Saving Time ended on the same night, giving all ghouls an extra hour to party, and what better day to have Halloween falls on than a glorious Saturday?
